Need advice changing rear motor mount 99 si
I'm changing my rear motor mount this weekend, need advice. Would prefer not to crawl under the car if its possible. I looked at the service manual but didn't see a section on the rear motor mount. How is this usualy done?
I just changed my clutch, and this mount looks harder to do then that.

Why are you replacing it?
You will need to access the rear mount from under the car.
It's much easier than replacing the clutch because there's no need to drop the transmission. Just raise the engine with a jack.

The mount is shot, and there is a LOT of engine movement, 1 torque mount and the rear mount is shot. I bought new mounts and filled them. I baby the car. I can jack up the car and put it in gear and rock the motor back and forth a few inches spinning the tire.
Do I take the T bracket off? Or just the mount?

yes you have to pull the t bracket out of the way to get to the mount and replace it. not that bad at all. just a little annoying taking the 2 rear bolts out in the tight spacing back there, but be patient they'll come
