So I replaced my PCV valve on my CX motor because the idle was pretty rough, it was bouncing up and down and when it sat steady, it sat pretty low. So I figure I should replace the PCV valve. I got the part from Kragen and went ahead and replaced the old PCV valve. I did the shake test and only heard a few rattle compared to the new valve. It fixed the bouncing idle part but now it idles lower than before at a steady rate. What did I do wrong? I pushed the valve as hard as I can back in. Any suggestions?

Have you cleaned your iacv and adjusted your idle?

 

not sure about the cx PCV,
but confirm that the PCV is installed correctly (not backwards/reverse direction)
