Icon2 Difference in AEM Intakes: Polished vs Powder Coated

I want to buy an AEM Short Ram Intake for my EJ1, I like the look of the Polished intake, but i hear the powder coated intake are painted with heat repellent paint... does the polished one take in more heat than the powder coated one or are they the same? any difference in power?

Go with the look you like.
No difference in power. Same as if you keep the OEM intake.

unless you live in cali don't bother with brand names.

buy a 20 dollar CAI/SRI pipe and buy a good filter like k&n or the like.

Get which ever one is cheaper.

It's just a tube and a filter.

Is one louder than the other since you've had both?

LOL no, the finish isn't going to make one louder than the other.
