Default GSR 3-4 shift fork excessive play

Rebuilding a gsr s80 transmission and need to know if anyone knows how to fix the excessive play of the 3-4 shift fork? I think there is a bushing in the case but I looked up a b16 trans on majestic and saw no part number.

Also will it hurt if I leave it alone and reassemble it with the play in the fork?

The 3-4 fork has more play than the other forks

Without actually seeing it you're probably ok. The top half of the case will prevent any serious amount of side to side movement when it's all together. I hope that's a shot before it was cleaned up though.

thank you for the reassurance. The bushing doesn't look too worn out but in my old b16 transmission, I don't remember the forks having that kind of play.

lol yeah it is. it was when I was removing it after purchase.

here it is now.
