engine shutting off while turning
my wife tells me when she turns a corner the 2006 Odyssey shuts of briefly, as if it where hydroplaning, then comes back on and the battery light goes on then off. Any ideas? I haven't had a chance to try it myself but I want to know where to start.

it must just be loosing engine power. sorry to say but I won't be able to drive it until the morning so I am going off of what my wife is telling me. she said it shuts off and then comes back one within seconds and it scared the hell out of her. I will try it in the morning to see if I can get it to reoccure for me.
If the battery light is coming on then its your alternator. Its probably spiking or dropping the voltage and that's when she is probably experiences the engine loosing power
I bought my wife a 2012 pilot the second week of June.I drive it on occasion and I have found that if I turn sharp(more to the right than left)the engine will seem to drop off(no power) for a few seconds then pick up as normal. My wife has not noticed this or she would have said something.I asked the dealer about it and they said haven't had any complaints on the subject. We put a couple hundred miles on it today and it did it three times.I look down at the dash and see no indications of a problem(no lights,or tach drop etc.)It just seems strange to me?Glad to find that I am not the only one that has noticed this.
Sounds like a loose or dirty connection. I would start with the battery connections and then verify all of the engine compartment connections and connectors are clean and tight.
