90' honda civic ef changed fuel strainer and doesnt start now
my car started to bog out while i hit the gas it also doesnt rev fully just sputters outs so i took a look at the fuel pump and notice that the fuel strainer had a tear in it so i replaced it and now the car doesnt even crank. can it be one of the wiring that got misplaced.? really need help
Can you hear the fuel pump come on when you turn the key to the on position (not the start position).
You should be able to hear it "hum".
Did you go back over everything to see if all is how it was before you started?
Are all your fuses good?

Yea bro I forgot to connect the ground wire. now the car is fine but I had to jump start the car an it dies out after I go outta first and the alternator is brand new so Im not sure of what it is
Is your Check engine light on? it sounds like it may be in limp mode.
Its hard to know without some more info. Is it stock or swapped?

Did you do any work to your car right before this started by chance?
Are you sure the check engine light bulb is working? it will come on (then go out) when you turn the ignition to the on position, if it doesn't its burned out.
To me it sounds like an issue in the distributor, but thats just my guess. Take the distributor cap off and check the rotor. pull your spark plugs out and examine them, tan-ish grey is the color of a normal plug.
limp mode happens for some CEL codes, the ecu with become very conservative and wont let you rev past 3500 rpm.
