It's a 97 or 98 with a b20b swap. Pretty sure a ls tranny. What I'm wondering is, is there anything I need to know about this b20b engine? Maintenance wise and rev wise? Let me know your guys thoughts. Thanks. I'll upload a pick right now

Head can be replaced with a nice GSR or B16a head, but needs a few minor mods for a real nice haul-*** project. Youll find a lot of write ups on this website, especially ls-vtec conversions.

 

The heads are known to have valve train issues. Keep you valve clearenceS within spec, they start to tick when you take them up to redline over time. Rods bolts are a weak link as well. Other than that they're solid engines. Reg 3k oil changes and maint as an LS.

 

no need for 3k oil change unless you smash the crap out of it.
