Rough exhaust sound after hitting a hard bump
Hey guys got a situation i need some help on. Yesterday i was driving home from work late in the night, long story short i had to cross a divider to avoid some road raging(maybe drunk) a-hole. It hurt to do so cause i definitely felt the middle of the car scrape something but i didn't notice anything at first. In the morning when i started her up i noticed a really rough sounding exhaust, it seemed to be generating from right around where i assumed i hit. I'm no expert but i think i dislodged/cracked something along the pipe that runs rrom the motor to the exhaust. I think thats where the CC is around but im not sure, any help here? Ill post some pics up when i can.
Ok i took a pic and im pretty sure this is where its originating from. This doesnt look normal haha. Again this is about mid car, right about where the drivers seat sits at full extension on a 2dr coupe.
Sorry for the double post but i totally derped and forgot to specify. It is a 1992 Accord LX 2dr Coupe. After further inspection, there is definitely air coming from the cylindrical shaped object in the picture above, i think the impact may have cause an old weld or seal to come undone?

As far as I know the main issues you would have if you caused yourself an exhaust leak would be noise and possibly failing emissions. especially if its after all o2 sensors. I'm not an expert so there may be factors Im not aware of but I don't know of anything else that would be really negatively affected.
That sounds like you have an exhaust leak if it is making a rough sound, you are probably right about messing up one of the welds, so other then the sound you may lose a few mpg and maybe some loss in power depending on how bad it is.
