DSM 440cc for turbo setup question?
so i purchased these for my turbo setup and the guy who sold them to me told me that i do not need to run a resistor box? and if im correct these are 440CC and any info you guys would like to tell me about them would be great.
450cc
i have the same injectors in my set up now
yes you need a resistor box, unless your car has one already?
my civic did not. I never seen a resistor box, or solder before. I did a couple hrs of research, and I did it myself, successfully. (soldered the wrong wires at first but good thing I always go over my work lol)
You can find a resistor at a junkyard very easily. Google the kind of car you have and see if it has one. I know accords do, pre 91 civic and preludes do

Yes you need a resistor box.
Those injectors are low impedance peak and hold injectors. (4 ohm)
Honda ecu's are made for high impedance saturated injectors. (13 -15 ohm)
You need a resistor box for the required resistance in the electrical circuit.
Not enough resistance in the circuit will over heat the injector drivers (transistor) in the ecu.
Resistor box's have 4 10ohm resistors inside them.
I have an extra resistor box I can sell you.

the resistor box is suppose to be soldered to other wires, it doesn't connect directly to the injectors.
go to a junkyard and find one for ten bucks. google which cars have resistors.

Honestly i wouldnt go that route.
a couple years back i ran those single 10 watt 10ohm reistsors and the solder joints would always break if you moved them too much and they were just really bulky and anoying.
