Default dc2 rad support

hey so i picked up a project dc2 with some front end damage. a trailer hitch went through the bumper and tweaked the upper "T" rad support. its not to bad id just rather buy another one instead of trying to bend it. anyone know a site or place in canada? btw its a usdm 97 front.

Honestly, I'd order one from Acura. I know they're expensive but in this case you get what you pay for. Aftermarket radiator supports are very weak and are known to buckle under jacking.

Well there's your answer. Use the link fcm gave you and order whatever you need. Be aware that all of those parts are welded, not bolted together. So unless you can weld you'll need a shop to do the work.

I would go to a bone yard, [PicknPull] and grab the part it's $14.99 at our PnP, you can get a lot of other stuff for the $100 difference. 94

Cut what it is spot welded to, so you do not damage the part you need once it is out and your at home, you can drill out the spot welds, toss the scrap.

On your car, it is best to grind the spot welds down untill you can remove the bent piece, finish grinding flat what is left of the spot welds install the new piece and have your friend, the welder, fill the holes in your new piece as he welds it into place. 94

Here is a pretty good DIY... http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/basi...ls-222549.html

You do not need spot weld drill bits, but it will make the job easier and cleaner. 94

okay thanks so i did buy another 94-97 hood and bumper but after paying around with it i realized the rad support is far to fubard to bend back so ill just be getting a JDM front conversion in the spring. seems best bang for the buck since the rad support needs to be replaced anyways. plus in my area there is maybe 2 haha so it will be unique. but there is a custom machine shop intown that i will get to cut the old one off and weld up the new one. maybe if im feeling confident illl try it myself
