Default 300whp b18c??

about to build a boosted b18c type r motor and im new to boosted hondas so have a few questions..
what would be a good turbo to run for this set up?
and what compression ratio should i aim for?

fully building the engine parts list so far is:
forged low comp pistons
forged rods
acl bearings
acl head and rod bolts
full honda engine gasket set
oem oil pump
oil cooler
good catch tank set up to re-leave crank case pressure
injectors
pump
intercooler
oil and water lines
neptune ecu
greddy profect b boost controller
equal length manifold
down pipe
trial waste gate
turbosmart bov

Go with 10:1 comp and a gt3082r turbo... quick spool.. nice power

I have jackson Supercharge, Hondata sc300, tune, Civic type R pistons, exhuast, header, intake, throttle body and I made 232whp im going to go LHT better header upgrade to coils and fuel hopefully see the 280-300..

300whp is what I'm also shooting for. Looking at a GT35R ball bearing. Are there any dual ball bearings out there?

No need for a gt35 if all you want is 300whp .. gt30 will spool much faster. Will make 300 no pro and can take you to 450 if you want more later

GTX3076R .63 AR and use a 9.8:1 or 10:1 compression with stock cams

my car made 295whp (mustang dyno) back in 2003 on stock motor. Old school Revhard turbo kit with 440cc injectors. Super simple setup. Motor lasted about 40K miles before it popped a ringland.

If you are going to build the motor, then it would be hard to not make 300whp on relatively low boost levels and pick the turbo of your choice as long as it flows enough air to make that amount of power.

thanks for the info its gonna be a daily so want it to be reliable thats why i wanna keep it low hp for a built engine. will the liners be ok? or would i need to sleeve the block?

I run 9:1 stock head gasket,piston/rods,arp studs, new oil pump water pump gaskets belts etc.....stock ITR head(bead blasted,re-polished), t3/t4 precision turbo cheap log manifold,edlebrock victor-x...1000cc dynamics,hondata s200...made 380whp 298tq on 14psi before it started too creep...so far I've been dd the car...drove her 12 hours to ITRexpo raced it...drove it back another 12 with 1 1/2 of spirited driving thru the Tennessee&north Georgia mountains...she still pulling harder every other week...abt 6000 miles on this fresh motor still running regular 10-40 mobile oil...haven't switched to synthetic yet but soon...

this is what i would do

expensive turbo but it's the top of the heap. if you're keeping the car awhile this is the setup to use
