HELP, Stuck on side of road, need advice. Feb 10, 2013
Just recently bought a gsr and im driving it back home
Before i left i had both cv axels replaced. As im driving down the interstate my began to pull hard to the left and begin to shutter, i slowed back and stopped. Didnt see anything. Started going again and all was well until about 20 miles down the road and it pulled left again and started shuttering and clicking like the cvs do. No it sounds horrible and a tow truck it on its way? Brakes seized? Wheel bearing? Ball joint? What do you guys think? Any help is appreciated.

What Lord Helmet said, it could easily be any of the above.
Because it happens after 20min of driving, I am going with wheel bearing, possible a brake problem, both easy enough to check. 94

Thanks for the info gentlemen. At firestone right now
Ill update as necessary. Had an alignment done when axle's were installed.

too many things to guess but i would first look at those recently installed cv axles. if they don't seat right and the c clips don't expand in the differential you could have problems

Ok boys so here is the rest of the story: Im military and drove down to Jacksonville for this SSBP GS-R. As previously stated, axles were replaced prior to departure. Got to just south of florence SC which is where i made this post whilst sitting on the side of the road. Tow truck came to the rescue and towed me to Firestone ( one of two places open in town on a sunday) Got there at 11 and left at 5 with a new left cv axle and left wheel bearing.
Literally didnt get 10 miles down the road and that wheel bearing they just replaced seized. So it was back on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck again. Got back there and they already had the part waiting. Back on the road 2 hrs later after a free coolant system check as well as fluid top off, ecu check, free rad cap and.free dinner i was sent on my way again. Well about 2 hrs into the drive in NC my wheel bearing began to hum, with excessive vibes and clunking. At this point i just said F it and just drove all the way back home. Now it is back in MD at another firestone where they will continue to fix my car for free. Pardon the punctuation and grammer. Typing in my phone.

Might want to have them do an alignment before you go anywhere else. I'm glad you haven't had to pay for too much stuff.
Thanks man, its gotten an alignment each time they replaced the wheel bearing. Im sure another one is in its near future lol
