gen 1 crv fortune auto coilovers
No, altering the angle of the strut does not change the camber. Same as Civic and Integra etc of same era.
You need adjustable camber arms or balljoints to change the camber

I run SPC extreme adjustable prelude ball joints. i paid 125 (i think, its in my build thread) for the pair (or it might have been each?)
I found the SPC extreme for the first gen crv's, Im just wondering if the +3 adjustment is enough for a 2-3 inch drop. Never really messed with suspension before so I am hesitant before dropping money like this haha.
in my opnion if u droping it im using d2 coilovers and d2 rear camber kit from the ek and i got -5.5 camber in my crv 1st gen and also before lowering it giving u a head up shave down you upper control arm or they would get stuck

yea shave them just a lil dont ode u dont want the ball joint popping out lol but yea eev if u lower it a lil it would get stuck to the frame so make sure u shave it or it would get stuck i seen it happend to many ppl even myself
Well now I have seen boosteds thread and he has nothing to adjust front camber and seems to be fine. The extra 200 saved would def help my decision. Is it ok to lower without anything for stock camber adjustment?
you can lower it a bit, but it will promote inner tire wear. Im lowered so much i had to cut out part of my frame rail and grind down my control arms.
You don't need to shave the control arms unless you do some additional parts swapping like different struts or extended tophats. The stock crv struts will bottom out before the control arms cycle up into the strut tower to get stuck. I drove mine for years without issue. Only when I swapped to civic struts did mine get stuck. The civic struts let me have more suspension travel before bottoming out and that was my issue

**** yeah. i was going over some tracks the first time and the bump completely compressed my suspension. on the side of the road i go. lol. The difference between my experience and yours could have been that i nearly completely removed my bump stops. did you cut yours?
My first drive after my drop I jammed both control arms in so hard I locked up my fronts from the tires jamming so hard into what was remaining of my rails (I had also ground about 1/2" off the end of both UCA's). The roads out here are pretty shitty though and speed has a huuuuuge impact on the likleyhood of getting your upper control arms stuck. Needless to say I stuck to back roads for a bit till I got that sorted out.
