Hey HT I just bought a 94 ex coupe with a Y8 swap in it its runing the obd1 p28 ecu just want to know what I have to do to make it run ryt it dosnt crack vtec at the moment should I just buy a jumper harness for the p2p or just swap a z6 back in ??

 

How do you KNOW it isn't "cracking VTEC"? Are you throwing any CELs? Can you rev past 5500RPMS?

 

Yea I can rev past 5300 and I dnt hear the crossover(I know its not as loud as a dohc) and yes o2 sensor

 

Srry ment 5500 and dnt get me wrong it runs great just not cracking and the cel light plus wrong ecu

 

Sounds like it's working to me.
You can get a P2P ECU and an adapter harness but I doubt it will change anything.
Fix the CEL.

But what about the vtec not cracking is it cause the cel light is on?

I think VTEC is working just fine. Can't feel it on my car.
