1994 Acura Integra kickdown cable replacement/ Adjustment issues
So here is the deal. Where the kickdown cable hooks up onto the auto tranny latches on the transmission and the throttle body. How do u change that cable into the tranny and throttle body???
I replaced my transmission on my wife's Integra over the weekend and am having issues. The old wire was stretched and the guy who sold me the rebuilt trans stretched the one for that. Now he gave me another one last night and I forgot how it goes on the bottom. The pic in the manual looks very different from the actual one on there, maybe because the Manual is general and for Civic, Integra and the Crv.
Can someone please post a pic of how it goes on there to help?? I googled the hell out of it, nothing came up.

So does the cord loop around the flat part and go into the ridge and into the hole?
Do I keep the throttle open and attatch it?
I can get it tight on one end but not the other?

Turns out the mounting piece on the transmission was somehow on backwards.. Happens sometimes when you get used stuff.
Ordered a new one and new cable from dealership.
Will post pics when it comes in of how to remove and install.
Glad to know it wasn't me that someone put that part on wrong.
I should have checked beforehand though, dumb mistake.
