My best friend just decided to get outta the vdub scene and into a 91 honda crx si.

His payments were to high the car is on ebay for anyone who might be interested. 2001 Gti, 17 rims NEW.

Car runs solid 14.5's with a system in the back which is all custom hitting 145db's. Very clean will have pics of that and the rex up soon.

He needs a jdm climate control unit, his is a little shreaded but other than that this car is so clean. red bad.

if its stock there is no possible way it runs 14.5's bottom line...
Ive been in the dub scene for years and owned 6 Vdubs and been a VW tech.... 14.5 in an 1/8 mile? yes.... 14.5 in the quarter? Sorry. Especially not with a system in the back. Regardless of whether it is a gti vr6 or a 1.8T. If its stock, sorry, he must have read his timeslip wrong.

In other aspects.... congrats on his change over to honda lol, I just made that trip 3 weeks ago.

 

Id like to just say, that unless I saw a timeslip, I wouldnt believe it.... So, Im not saying anyone is BSing, Id just like to see a timeslip if theres any argument to what I posted earlier

 

Ok, just saw pics of it, if its internal mods match the looks of the exterior, 14.5's are believable still fast for an mk4 as they are quite heavy, but believable, once again, throw a timeslip on here, Id like to see an mk4 1.8T runnin mid-low 14's props are due to one that does.
