Drivers Seat Leg Room
I am about to get home to my first Integra, so I was just wondering, how many people on here with DC4's are over 6'? I am 6'4" and I am just wondering what kind of fit I will have in the car, and how comfortable others are in it. I had someone else go test drive mine since I am on deployment so any help would be appreciated. Thanks
It's hard to tell if you will have room or not. Only thing is to sit in one, although kind of hard for you since you're deployed.. Just an idea, I am 5'9 and my leg hit the steering wheel and knee is about 4" from the dash with the seat all the way back, but I have friends who were the same height as me have to pull their seat up half way just to be able to push the clutch in all the way. We all have different body proportion.
I'm exactly 6' and my seat is about half way back and my knee/thigh has an inch sometimes before hitting steering wheel. Although I do get leg cramps sometimes from lack of stretching room haha. It all depends on how you recline your seat also
The problem for you will be headroom in cars with a sunroof. My head touched the headliner on such cars (DA, in my case) when they were new. Now that these cars are older and their seat cushions have compressed a bit over time, you may be OK depending on your physique, but definitely check that out carefully!
And you may have to set the steering wheel high though, otherwise you may find yourself with stiff knees after long drives on account of needing to splay your legs to get them around the steering wheel. I have often wished for an extendible steering wheel. If I set the seat back far enough to give me comfortable leg room with the wheel down where I like it, the wheel ends up a bit far away. But then I've been driving this thing for 22 years, so it can't be that bad.
I am 6'3" 205lbs I have the seat one notch from full back and am running a single bend short throw and its perfect. But IMO driving my buddies teggy with lowdown seat rail and bride knock offs was so muc better. I did not feel like a big guy in a small car. I loved it. BTW welcome home I am on my way out there once again soon.

I'm a lot shorter than you (6'1", 200 lb.) and I fit fine, but snug. The driving position is "driver oriented" so it's got more room than you might get in other cars of the size and era. It depends on the year a bit, too, as later models had more adjustments on the driver's seat.
I'm sure you're used to finding most cars a tight fit, though. I like it anyways, because I like a car that feels like you wear it rather than sit in it.
Congrats on getting home soon, and thanks for your service.
