Default Poor Mans ITR swap into 99 usdm SI

Hey guys, so I have an EM1 and no garage or tools as my house is still being finished. Anyway my car is @ a local shop. I brought in-

-Toda built b16 head with ITR cams
- B18c1 block with ITR internals
- obd2 to obd1 jumper harness
- car already has new distributor
- p28 that is tuned for the motor @187whp forget torque
- 2001 ITR trans w/ exedy stage 1 clutch & light weight flywheel

All of this came out of a 95 hatch so its obd1. From what I have read via search I can use my B16 wire loom with jumper and P28 and my distributor & the rest should be plug and play.

The shop is telling me the jumper is pointless and it wont work like that. More or less that I need to switch completely to obd1 wires cause my 99 B16 wires wont work. I mean I have read alot of swap threads and what I mentioned above is all I should need right?

From my understanding its remove obd1 wire harness from new motor, replace with obd2 wire harness from current vehicle (also a must that I use current distributor that is in the em1 now) plug into obd2 to obd1 jumper and then plug into p28 tuned ECU and everything should be good to go. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks guys.

you can't use anything but a 99-00 civic harness. you'll need to either get distributor + injector + alternator adapter plugs, or swap them over from your original motor. injectors might be an issue depending on what is on the new motor.

There's no marking on injectors so I am unsure what size they are. I have a set of type R injectors or i can buy new higher cc aftermarket ones as well as a new fuel higher output fuel pump. Thank you, that is exactly what I read and told them. Thanks again.

Ok so the shop calls me today, Tells me they need to use the oil pump off of my b16 and they cant use the oil pump off the swap I bought which was all obd1 because there is no crankshaft sensor from my original distributor. Does that sound right?

Ignore Last post after searching I found a write up, that someone did and being that my p28 ecu has no crankshaft sensor its of no concern. Sorry to burden with a dumb post again. I searched but just had to dig deeper to find my answer in the mounds and mounds of info. thanks guy and sorry again.

You will only need the crank position sensor if you plan to use an obd2 ecu at any point.. IE: smog. Other then that, not needed.
