Default crx clunking while entering 1st gear

hey guys, ever since ive had my crx it has always had a slight shake and clunking sound while entering 1st gear from a dead stop. It has a b20b engine swap. I will let of on the clutch and you can just feel the front end shake. sounds pretty bad. Its worst when going in reverse

at first I thought it was the clutch or the transmission, but i recently did a turbo setup on the car and swapped out the transmission with a fresh one. and put in a fresh clutch. the problem didnt go away.

I also replaced my upper control arms, i noticed one was cracked. But i still have the problem.

I know i should probably get a bushing kit. but is there a particular spot that it might be? car has 284k on it.

Do you have all motor and trans mounts attached?

If all of your motor mounts are attached and good, I'd start replacing bushings. Start with your suspension bushings first.

I forgot to mention. The higher I rev on take off. The less clunky it is. If I rev to 2100ish and quickly let off the clutch it doesn't shake. But if I take off in a more practical manner, such as 1100 rpms it clunks. I know my 6 puck doesn't help. But it was the same with my oem spec disk clutch too

So just to narrow this down a bit does this noise happen when you put it in gear? Or is it when you release the clutch?

While I'm releasing the clutch pedal from a dead stop. When it's in gear it's good

You say you have a 6 puck clutch, I assume its aggresive?

It may just be the due to the violent nature of the clutch you have.

I have a aggresive clutch and i took awhile to get used to, but you'll eventially find the sweet spot.

EDIT: oops, so the OEM clutch did it too.
Does it seem like a noise caused by bucking or is is a metalic clank?

its like the front end of the car is shaking like. "KUH KUH KUH" I really have no way to describe it. I just parked my car and reverse is waaaay worse. I hope its not my motor mounts. My engine doesnt seem to move or shake when im doing pulls.

check your inner cv's then.

saying that, how low are you?

are you using DA axles? or other type of b series axles?

pretty sure it's almost impossible for your mounts to tear. it's solid urethane. it would split first then fall apart.

Might be the clutch throw out bearing.
