crx clunking while entering 1st gear
hey guys, ever since ive had my crx it has always had a slight shake and clunking sound while entering 1st gear from a dead stop. It has a b20b engine swap. I will let of on the clutch and you can just feel the front end shake. sounds pretty bad. Its worst when going in reverse
at first I thought it was the clutch or the transmission, but i recently did a turbo setup on the car and swapped out the transmission with a fresh one. and put in a fresh clutch. the problem didnt go away.
I also replaced my upper control arms, i noticed one was cracked. But i still have the problem.
I know i should probably get a bushing kit. but is there a particular spot that it might be? car has 284k on it.

I forgot to mention. The higher I rev on take off. The less clunky it is. If I rev to 2100ish and quickly let off the clutch it doesn't shake. But if I take off in a more practical manner, such as 1100 rpms it clunks. I know my 6 puck doesn't help. But it was the same with my oem spec disk clutch too

It may just be the due to the violent nature of the clutch you have.
I have a aggresive clutch and i took awhile to get used to, but you'll eventially find the sweet spot.
EDIT: oops, so the OEM clutch did it too.
Does it seem like a noise caused by bucking or is is a metalic clank?
You say you have a 6 puck clutch, I assume its aggresive?
