I can't find accurate info on this.

I'm not sure if I have a B16 or an LS transmission. It's a B series cable non-lsd transmission, that's all I know. I don't care about the gearing, I don't care about FD's or opening the case, or spinning the input shaft to identify the the gearing or any of that crap.

All I'm trying to figure out is what diameter input shaft each B series transmission has.

All the info I find says that the 92-93 has a larger input shaft, but, nobody says what size it actually is! Is it 12mm? 23mm? 46mm? Who knows!

Here is my friction disk that came installed on my swap...



The seller claims it is a B16 transmission but I have my doubts, as anyone should about any claims...

The points on the caliper are in the grooves of the friction disk.

I need a new clutch but I need to know what clutch to buy.

Any help is appreciated...

 

for what i can see and im checking both sizes splines you either has a jdm b16 or ls small spline 24.70mm and like you check on the picture friction disk 24.95mm tranny you need to look into 90-91 acura clutch because the 92-93 its big spline 25.50mm and friction disk 25.75mm i hope that help you.

 

Y1 cable transmission this is the 21 tooth spline at 25.4mm diameter as a apposed to the Hydraulic 25.7
