Default New suspension set up

I just scored a complete set of brand new tokico blues for $140 off some guy in craigslist cuz he needed $ for the new baby (o how I love that baby haha), anywho I wanna buy new springs as well and I was thinking the eibach sportlines because they lower about 2". This will be for a DD and have been wanting to lower the car for the last 2yrs. I have a budget of about $200 for springs cuz thats how much the sportlines are, any other springs I should consider that are gonna be worth it cuz I dont wanna bounce around. Coilovers are out the question and I know I might need a front camber kit, soooo let them options roll haha thanks guy/gals

You didn't do that well on the shocks.

Eibach sportlines are good, so is H&R's...

With the mild drop that those 2 would provide, you wont need a camber kit. 'Possibly' do the rear washer trick, but even then it shouldn't be a worry.

How did I not do well for $140 brand new shocks with hardware still in box? Those normally go for $300 on ebay let alone other websites, but yeah I had the rear washer trick on mind already and I'll still align it after complete installation. Just kinda want other possible set ups with the blues

Because you bought OEM replacements, they aren't meant to be used on a lowered car. Don't expect them to last that long.

Ribal, the washer trick is putting washers behind the rear upper control arms (between them and the body) to eliminate some negative camber.

Like the sticky at the top says, you dont need a camber kit front or rear. take out the washers and get the toe zeroed out front and rear.

Why take the washers out?

You sure you want to 0 out the toe in rear?

Or just have the alignment shop set it to whatever spec is recommended. Yes remove the washers.

I don't know what you're upgrading for [not an insult, just a question xD]. You could either go with the Eibachs or like @98civdx said, H&R's are great. Yet they won't last as long as coilovers would. I said I didn't know what you were upgrading for because IF you are going to be AutoXing and later tracking, i'd just save a little every month and buy some coilovers. I've got a set of PIC [nothing fancy, but 8 way adj. dampers help ALOT] coilovers and I would still recommend them. But if you are going on a low budget and are just daily driving it, then just buy the springs. Just give it some thought though; should'nt rush into anything man! It's your car, don't let everyone convince you of something xD even me!
