Default b16 rebuild questions

I have a few questions concerning my upcoming rebuild. I tend to get a little carried away.

Is it safe to reuse mains / bolts?
Is it safe to reuse rod bolts when reusing stock rods?

The reason i ask, my last rebuild i was talked into picking up arp rod bolts with arp mains. With that came a line hone and rod reshape. It was quite expensive considering it was just an OEM refresh.

More info: will be in a DD with a stock 16g greddy kit 250-275whp. Zero intentions of picking up pistons /rods.

Pardon me for saying but that sounds absolutely nonsensical to not go with something like a Vitara, Weisco, etc. setup if you plan on rebuilding the bottom end anyways. Chaeper than getting a line hone and rod reshape. Don't understand the logic in this at all.

Appreciate you pointing out my failed logic. It was something i was completely unaware of.

Back to topic. Safe to re-use the stock rod bolts and main bolts?

Don't see why not since stock B-series internals can handle that power easily. That would include the rod bolts. No one one ever replaces mains. Never seen it. Who wants to bother with a line hone when not needed?

Waste of an opportunity.
