my car idles realy rough, it smothes out as you rev the engin but at an idle the hole car shakes I tried to drive it but it wont go over 40MPH. and is verry slow taking off from a stand still. I hooked it an OBD II reader and got about 6 different codes, mis firing and an P1259 code. VTECH solenoid. Do I just replace the Solenoid, will this solve all my problems?

 

It may. While you are at it replace plugs, distributor cap, rotor, spark plug wires.
