Differences Between GSR and Non Vtec?
I'm extremely new to the integra and I was wondering the differneces between the GSR and the non Vtec cars? Suspension, block, crank, intake, exhaust, interior, exterior, etc.

The vtec engines have higher compression and the ability to rev higher. Both have dohc (Dual OverHead Cams). Vtec stands for variable valve timing. Honda developed the vtec technology to allow their smaller engines to breath better and rev higher to produce more Horsepower. I'm not super technical on the subjects but those are the basics.
To all those with the high and mighty additudes ---- Lose them or just be quiet. The guy said he is new and was asking legit questions. All of you didn't start out as vtec honda gurus. Be nice

Same Brakes.
Same suspension (shocks, springs) But gsr has larger sway bars and yes a front tower bar.

Also, the GSR, (as opposed to the RS, LS, GS, SE-non vtec models), has slightly larger brakes, stiffer supension, strut tower brace, etc.

many things are different......especially internally in the motor. You may want to do a little research on the net, and come back with any questions you may have, because there are many cars to compare and contrast.
At the top is the Type R, then GS-R, etc. Now they are at the top stock-wise, but with modifications, this may change.

theres one main difference....
generally speaking the LS (i.e. non-vtec) is way underestimated!!!

BTW, hears another kicker for yall. I had a Neon Sport before my Integra. It had the DOHC 2.0 150 hp with the close ratio trans. It was just as fast as the Integra and I put 150,000 miles on it before I traded it in. The Neon was no Integra (not near as well refined or engineered), but it was fast.
