2000 DX rack - Replaced the rack and the right side clamp rattles
I put a new rack in my 2000 DX, already power steering (from searching i've seen there's some clamp weirdness with manual rack swaps) and the two piece clamp that holds up the right side of the rack doesn't fit. I've got probably a 1/4" of play in the rack.
Did I forget to remove something from the old rack like a rubber bushing that goes onto the new rack to take up the play?
I'm going to go back to the parts store and hope they didn't send back the core yet, but otherwise does anybody have a part number for the possible bushing?
Edit: I'm finding things like this when I search for power steering bushings:

I'm lost as to where the small bushings would go, but the big bushing certainly looks like the right thing. Do I have to remove the entire boot off the right side of the steering rack to slide it on, or is the bushing actually slit through so it just pops over?

^^this. The smaller ones are for the 2 bolts on the drivers side. The big one is slit. I would recommend getting the kit above. I just replaced my rack bushings and there's a noticeable difference.
You can replace them all without removing the rack.

Thanks for the help.
I might be wrong, but I think the two long bolts on the drivers side are either already bushed, or I just didn't notice.

They are bushed. You tap the metal center out through the top, then remove the rubber. Replace with poly, tap the metal center back in from the top (it can only go in one way).
As a follow up for future searchers:
I got lucky. The new rack was pre-bushed on the two drivers side bolts (both the bushings and the metal center), which is great because otherwise I wouldn't have had the metal sleeve (I left those in the old rack and sent it back as a core charge).
The big bushing that the clamp goes over, I picked up the energy suspension rack kit from Advance for 10 bucks. Dropped the bottom clamp and rolled it in, buttoned it all up and everything is good.
Thanks guys.
