My 60-1turbo LS Integra street radials(new personal record)
first race is me against a aaudi turbo with slicks and as you can see it didnt help him whatsoever and the second race is against a 6 seond eigth mile built 5.0 mustang.
first pass 2.077 60
5.6 330
8.206 eighth
94.5mph
second pass 2.045
5.4 330
8.044 eighth
93mph
all on 195 50 15 street radials falkens
gonna try to break into 7s with street tires.
with a 8.4 i get a 12.6 to 12.7 quarter so with the math my new time is like a 12.2 to 12.4 quarter with street tires

my first and second is running off the wastegate at 5.5 psi, third is at 11.6 psi and fourth is at 14.8psi for the first run and in the second run i rose the third gear boost to 13psi
once i get 26 or 24.5 inch slicks im gonna go with 12psi in first, 15 in second, and 22psi in third and fourth with q16. if i dont break the 7.2 range then im going nitrous but i really really doubt it

I've seen videos of miller testing @ short tracks before. Like d rob said the first half OS more important. Great place to dial the car in and get some seat time.

I never really understood drag racing in the first place honestly.. I grew up at Road Atlanta.., mom worked there and dad raced a lot, I've also grown up around race bikes.. tracks like Laguna Seca, Barber, Jennings, etc
This is how I feel

As long as a person can get the launch down... reaction time, 60ft etc. Then almost anyone can do 1/4 mile racing

The average Honda owner that drag races will not break the 10-11 second mark... so all that is is toss some slicks on it, setup the two step/anti lag and practice launching and dropping 60ft times.. after that its just shift and keep the cad straight.
Purpose built drag cars are a total different animal from a street/strip car.
Just like how we normally don't drive the FormulaD competition cars on the street (although some are tagged) and they are totally different from someone that casually drifts, does grassroots stuff.
the reaction time doesnt count for my actual timeslip though. thats added on top if you get what i mean. i would have to hook 2nd or get a 1.960ft with street tires but thats really hard. i havent seen anyone do that yet
and that mustang was NA!!! that **** was fuken fast. it got a 6.7 earlier and it was spining in the video suposedly(he was fully built though allthe way, racegas and massive tires)
if i had a choice to run the quarter i would man trust. but here in Socal it sucks man because this is the only track near me where i don't gotta worry about paying a fortune for tow truck if i snap an axle and i cant afford the gas to tow my car in a bug truck all the way out to the quarter mile tracks which are all at least 3 to 4 hours away
and the eighth mile also has less wear and tear on your engine but again if i had a quarter mile track around here i would definitely only be going there
Lmfao at the guy posting a picture of straight line being all about the car. Go jump behind the wheel of a 700hp FWD Honda and tell me any fool can do it. That would be like me saying anyone can jump in a 240 and become a drift king lol. If you're talking about the typical 15 second Honda well then the same could be said for road racing. If drag racing isn't your cup of tea thats fine, but don't **** on others who enjoy it.
OP, nice setup and runs!
