Default ef civic build

howye all im a newbie to the site just after buying an ef civic off my friend its a bit of a project still debating what engine to put into it it had a 1.5 dual carb block in it and its a jap import (black hatch )

excuse the lack of pics will have some tomorrow lads and ladies

You can go b but after my recent switch I kinda miss the challenge that was there with my sohc wish I would have stuck it out with the d16

if you're planning on dual carbs forget mpg.. i'd say slap on a couple of webers or a holley and fit a straight pipe exhaust.. it will sound awesome and you should get some good power figures too. my mate's got a twin weber carb'd d13b on an ef which keeps up with del sols easily at the strip and it's not even tuned properly.

nah lads sorry mixup i ment it had the b15b dual carb block ill be goin dohc vtec not sure b16/18 or h22 and i dont know about nos or turbo i think it will be a bit to much power for me as now cause im drivin a 1.2 clio
excuse the delay on the pictures had the local rally on during the weekend

Do a h22. Can get it for decent price. From the sound's of it you will be more then satisfied with the power.

yeh honda parts are s*it cheap like the rolling shell with the pannels and a heap of stuff cost me 200 euro with a 1.5 dual carb block but no gearbox here lads gunna buy a h22 prelude for about 300 in the next week or so only thing is it looks direct from fast and the furious still no update on pics due to irish weather and im not sure about b series and im fairly sure nos is illegal here but it mightent stop me its the only thing of gettin hold of the systems
