Default FITV delete by swapping TB?

I have a B20B in my CRX and it has a 0bd1 B18B intake manifold and TB on it. I want to delete my FITV mounted to the bottom of the throttle body. I have a 90-93 B18A 0bd0 throttle body in my garage just laying around which doesn't have the FITV on the bottom. Would the B18A throttle body work with the B18B intake manifold and not cause a vacuum leak? I can remove all the BS on it and just remount my MAP to the firewall. Seems like it would work b/c if you get an aftermarket TB it doesn't have the FITV on the bottom.

I swapped the throttle bodies out and it worked out fine. Seemed to fix my slight idle problem.

I dont have experience with this pesonally, but I recall reading this will create idle issues when cold, but go for it If its working for you.

Never really gets cold down here in New Orleans lol. I might see 32* once or twice in the early morning hours. It's 50* outside now and on a cold start it idled at 1500 rpm and went down to 850-900. Hopefully it will work out.

The only effect I see happening from deleting it is taking longer to warm up your car. Since it only has a effect on your engine when you first start it in the cold.

I just created a block off plate to eliminate mine.

I thought about that, but since I had the other TB sitting around I just used it. Just had to get a TB gasket for the older manifold.

That block off came out pretty clean too.
