Default Kinsler ITB installation

Hi all,
im close to purchasing a set of Kinsler ITB's for my 'B'.
However, im concerned about a few things....hopefully a few members who use or who have used this setup will be able to point me in the right direction;

Firstly, Kinslers ITB's for the 'B' doesnt seem to come with a mounting bracket for the TPS. How is the throttle position signal picked up and fed back?.....

Secondly, does anyone know how the IACV can be installed...maybe on a vaccum box?....

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

kinsler comes standard with either a ford or k series tps boss. you need to get the appropriate sensor and connector then wire them. you will then need to calibrate the tps.

Although the kinsler ITB are nice, they are lacking in some feature. The brackets for example for the fuel rail is a piece that looks like you can pick it up from home depot! i would go with TWM or if your willing to spend the money for a kinsler 3 grand buy a toda

Kinslers are pretty much the best you can get. TWM's are for those that can't afford kinslers. The todas are cool, but they are the same old school toyota ae101 itbs that obx uses. Both of which are too small for any setup that would take advantage of itb's.

Anyone that tell you to buy any Itb system over Kinsler does not know what they are talking about. Also I had my Twm itbs well before Kinsler came out but that foesnt mean I can't afford yhem.

i guess the plethora of options from kinsler means nothing? you're worried over a little bracket?

i take it you dont own a set and/or are ignorant to what they offer?

also, this is not an opinion topic. if you dont have info on this topic, please just dont post.

op, i do not run an iacv with mine and it runs locked on vtec. Neptune EMS gives me all the control i need.

i had toda's but they do not compare with the kinslers for the power gains everywhere in the revband.
yep ive went with the k series drive option. i'l be picking up a k tps this weekend, so now im going to have to find out how to wire it in properly.....ahem anyone know what to do exactly?...
im not too concerned about the calibration of the sensor as the b and k tps sensors run to pretty much the same voltage ranges iirc.
last season i had some issues with cold start and at idle, and im nearly sure because im running no iacv. sometimes in parc ferme and even lined up on the grid the revs would drop and engine would cut out if i did not keep blipping the throttle. once the engine was fully warmed up, theres no problem, its just a pain in the a$$ having to worry about the engine shutting down right before a race!!!!

they can have a bit of a temper pending ambient temps. I have found a happy medium of 900-1000 rpm idle though. You can tune them via map based but you will need a decent sized vacuum tank in order to get a proper vacuum reading. Neptune, for example, uses alpha-n which allows you to use the TPS as your main fueling/ignition input and the map sensor is simply a data bit. You will want to use TPS based if you are not running a vacuum can or if you are just using a vacuum block to provide vacuum for the booster. You can also utilize the map switching function depending on setup and the vacuum reading you are getting. In most cases you will only be able to use the map sensor for idle and like properties and you will switch to TPS based after certain conditions are met. But TPS based is a bit easier and less involved.

I can post the K tps pin diagram later but im sure you can find it online faster.

i dont know what that guy is talking about but ive got very sturdy, very nice CNC aluminum brackets holding my fuel rail.
