so i got my hand on a 92 hatch with a d15b and auto tranny....dot hate on the auto tranny...well either way i wanna share my progress with the h-t nation...this is gonna be the first car i mess with so progress might be slow but ill definitely be on it..

well my freind, you got a huge project there. Usually when doing any type of build, one would find the cleanest shell,uncrashed, with matching paint.

your going to have 2 grand just in body work to fix everything just to be able to paint it. then thats another grand. (if done correctly) You going to sink 5 grand into a civic thats worth 300 bucks.

Personally, I would part it out, collect as much $$ as you can for it. Buy a cleaner civic to start your build. Cuz your going to lose interest in it after you throw good money after bad and still not see results.

 

 

Let that go, its not worth the headache and the danger of trying to fix that and making it road worthy.
Part it out and find another shell

HamzaZ, you need to figure out exactly what a "hater" is before you call anyone a hater. That car is a death trap. Period. Entire rear quarter rusted and (poorly) bondo'd. Front frame of the car (you know, that thing that SAVES YOUR LIFE in a front end collision) is already smashed to ****, crumpled, and wrinkled up. Nothing on the front end lines up correctly. I see FIVE different colors of paint. You could find a better shell in a damn junk yard.

 

How do you get a car like that registered in CA?

well i got the core support so guess what people im a make happen and to me honestly this car is worth it specially cuz it aint gonna be funded by mommy and daddyy....now thank u all you guys just gave me a new reason to make this project happen!!!!
