Heres what I been able to confirm so far......

Crv Passenger side mount
K24A2 motor of course 06-08
Kpro
5spd/6spd Tranny from rsx S/ Civic SI

Questions:
I have a 2002 honda civic si with the K20A3 motor from a RSX Base, Im not sure which ECU the previous owner kept in, so my question is which Kpro should I get. Either the 2001-2005 Honda Civic SI Kpro/ 2001-2005 RSX Base Kpro.... Either way both are based off of RSX-S (US) w/PRB ECU.

Also can I get a 2008 K24A2 beacuse the Kpro only goes up to year 2006

I would really appreciate a proper intro and walkthrough for this swap into the 2002 Honda Civic SI

Sorry but I giggled about the Kpro only going up to 2006

Yes you can run the 06-08 engine with Kpro. You need the Kpro for your car. From there you can tune it to ANY k engine. I hope you know a good tuner

Please stop making different threads though for swapping an engine into your car lol

You'll also need a wiring harness for an RSX or modify yours. Not 100% for the EP3 I'll ask a buddy with the swap

Doesn't matter what ecu you use as long as its from an 02-04 rsx or ep3. Kpro works the same on them all. Only difference is the type a ecu has reverse lock out for the 6 speed trans. If you decide to upgrade to a 6 speed in the future it may be beneficial.

You can use any k24 up to 2008

awesome.... so the kpro question is answered... So if i understand u correctly then i can just hook up kpro for the 02 honda civic si to my ep3 even if i have an rsx ecu as long as its an 02-05?

Also What else is needed for this swap, im gonna keep the stock intake and throttle for now until i have more money to upgrade to rrc(rbc) intake and i think the type s throttle body (I think thats compatible).

^that link is exactly where I was gonna head next.

I didn't do the oil pump swap or anything. I left the engine 100% factory K24A2.

I swapped out the sensors and the coolant port pipes.

The part number for the CRV engine bracket that you need is 11910-PPA-000. If you do not rev the engine above 7500 RPM, it is not necessary to swap to the RSX-S oil pump.

This is actually one of my 1st times doing a swap myself. The EP3 has been my fav car since my high school days in 2005. Is it easier to work with a supercharged or
turbo? My plans are to buy one of those turbo kits from ebay and skunk 2 racing cams. I want to see how much HP can I get with this thing. The 93 civic si hb is a nice
looking car too. post some pics if you have any.

I was needing this, too. Going JDM K24A soon and have already gathered quite a few parts, but was confused on the CRV mount. Thanks!
