Default 98 dx VTEC swap??

I've got a 98 dx hatch and on a budget. What would be the cheapest VTEC swap available? Maybe just a top end swap?

A Y8 mini-me would be fairly simple. You'll just need the complete head, ECU, and the ability to run some wires.

No reason to, though. The power difference is negligible, to say the least.

So sell my z6 head and a6 intake manifold? I wouldn't need the intake mani from the y8?

So just the Y8 intake manifold will convert it to VTEC? I'm not the smartest guy on here but that don't seem likely? Unless I mis understood lol! Which I probably did!

Where did I say that? Reread the thread. You asked about intakes a minute ago. All I'm talking about is the intake manifold. I didn't say a blessed thing about VTEC.

You have a Z6 head, you could use that to do a mini-me...

Seriously. Search. Read. Learn.

Wasnt being a dick and dont have a problem...goes to show not everyone can post text on a site and be able to know what emotion came with that text. Calm down and quite being so sensitive.

Couldnt understand at all if that was a question or not...doesnt make much sense why you replied this to jbpnoman with what he said.

ahh gotcha...I see what your saying

A full y8 swap would be easier but z6 head on y7 block has been done in 96-00 civics many and ah many times

You don't need to START that thread because that thread already EXISTS.

Read the FAQs sticky. It's there for a reason. We help those who help themselves. You obviously haven't.
