makes the header look alot better than all rusted

or is it just polished if so will it stay like that

i wonder if its the high temp non rust engine paint??? will that stuff work on headers?? when my friend was working on his el camino, he cut patches out from the bed of the car and sprayed a silver paint on it that prevented rust.

Actually jet-hot has a bunch of different ceramic finishes.
I had a set of headers for my other car done in that exact finish.
Holds up really nicely

 

i would probably bang up my header before it ever gets rust on it....

it looks like jet hot. but if you want to coat your header or any other exhaust component you should also look into HPC coating. the pricese are cheaper then jet hot, but you dont get the bling bling.

 

hehehh....thats what someone said to me once, you need a V8...i just like building up the 4cyl. and i have a bike as well. so i guess i am going against the grain one could say

 

All the aluminum/ceramic coatings look pretty much like that. You can use Airborne, which is cheaper than Jet-Hot, and just as good.
