Are used headers good to buy in general? i hear once you put em in the engine and take em off , there may be warpage in the steel due to wear and tear.... is this true?

Just inspect it for cracks around the welds and dents. Then buy away.

and rust if you don't plan on coating it.

there's one on ebay...they said 8000 miles..and its coated with some type of paint? .. looks clean ... dc ss headers

 

just make sure they send you pictures of it so you can feel confident you're getting something worth the $.
