you both have heard wrong...no b-series head can go on a d16 block.
as far as I know the only honda dohc heads that can be swapped onto sohc blocks is a h22/f20b heads can go on a f22/f23 blocks

So your actually going to install it? If it was free, put it on craigslist and wait for some teenager to come along and give you $40 for it. You dont want that ricer junk on your car. Changing when vtec crosses on a stock single cam isnt gonna make the car any faster or cooler. Complete waste of time.
No a b series head will not go on a d series block. There is a dc d series that is Dohc. But it is NOT a b series. In no way shape or form will a b series head for d series block and vise versa.
I had to quote it to reiterate the point. Moreover, if you were to put a B series head a D series block next to one another you'd soon notice that nothing even remotely lines up. For starters, the 81mm bore vs 75mm.
A cheap alternative to a D series is an LS swap...For a few hundred bucks and a weekend's worth of effort, you could have your coveted dual cam setup. A few hundred more $$ for a VTEC head and away you go

I'm happy weith my SOHC. I'm gonna build it up till i can't build it anymore and then boost it..lol
The only ZC dohc motor came on 86-89 integras. some oil port holes will not match it and thus cannot be used on a sohc motor. Why not just buy it instead complete for like 400 and swap? its came with 130hp.
