Default 3" exhaust beneficial on a Usdm B20Z?

Hey guys.
I am currently in the process of building myself a gas miser. I have a 1991 Civic Cx that used to be automatic D15. It now has the following

-00 USDM B20Z (9.6:1)
-95 Integra LS trans (soon to be replaced with s4c, bought a 00 SiR for parts)
-p05 Ecu with a phearable B20 basemap (7200 redline, 4400 launch control)
-n1 crank pulley
-11lb flywheel
-eBay Ching Chong dong 3" intake
-plm rmf narrow knockoff, test pipe
-shitty obx 2.25? I believe cat-back.
-mild weight reduction (no rears, sound deadening out, firewall mat out, no ps,)

I want to run 13.999 on this setup. I was thinking about what else I can do without getting away from bolt ons. I was thinking about picking up a 3" k-teller exhaust for it, was wondering if anyone had any insight as to weather it would be ideal for this setup.. I was thinking it may suffer at the lower revs because of it.

I don't want to do anything else to it as I picked up an evo td05hra-16g so I just want to see just how far I can go with this setup all motor first.

Every motor benefits from a 3" exhaust. End of story.

I wish I could agree . 2.5" is more than enough for something like that. 3" is not nearly as beneficial as one would think except in the peak rpm just for some number.

No, you're very right. A 2.5" is more than fine for 99% of everyone. But for a sturdy all motor build 2.0+ the 3" is still an upgrade. A small one, that you're trading about 10-15 Db for.

If you did put it on the turbo will benifit more for sure later on.Did you do any 1/4 mile runs at your local track all ready? 175 whp in my altitude only runs Depends on weight and slicks or not ect. These were all 21-2500 lbs civic hatches.

pics of your build?

cant go wrong with the kteller weld up exhausts. my friends and I use them with magnaflow mufflers.

in fact, i just ordered the 2.25" kteller kit for my bolt ons + small cams b20b. combined with a magnaflow straight through muffler and magnaflow 2.25" cat I think it will be fine. cant believe they charged 50 dollars shipping for ups ground i know times are tough but damn lol.

unless you are really tearing into the internals on that engine a 2.25/2.36" 60mm or 2.5" will get the job done in my noob ignorant opinion. you do have a light weight car their working in your advantage to reach your all motor goal.

3" primaries,nsx. Lol.
3" from the test pipe back. Maybe ill Try the **** obx setup and try with a 3" at a later drag event. The car should weigh about 1900 or so as is but I've still got to take out the front sway bar out and a few more things.
Ill start a build thread later tonight cxserver
