Icon3 B18 Linkage question..

Sup guys, I am new to the whole swap/Built out the ying yang stuff.. I have seen a few topics on this but not what I am after.. So here goes...

I recently traded for a full on built 94 Del Sol.. It has a JDM B18C-R swap.. Just recently the shifter linkage snapped ( The main linkage that houses the shifter itself )..

Come to find out the PO basicly did a very poor weld job, so I am taking it as it is the stock linkage for the D.S. I have full access to a metal/fab work shop. and was seeing if anyone knew the correct length, and the correct downward angle I should use..

I have it welded back together now but its off by 1/2in length wise, but its also hitting the floor area closest to where the shifter is, so I know there needs to be a angle there so the shifter gets up in the car.. The PO had it welded and worked fine so I believe I can do the same if I can get those 2 measurements

Before anyone says it, I do not have the funds to buy the correct linkage.. This car was being turned into a track car, It was completely gutted nothing but race seat and a steering wheel.. I know it would be easier but, just can not afford it.. This car is now my DD my only DD so, now you can kinda understand why I need to try and get it back up and on the road..

Thanks for all the help.
