Default Can i still use these?

I got these manley pistons that were in my gsr block that got messed up it chewed the bottom of the pistons up.

lmk what you guys think.

i would check for cracks. If it's not cracked, or big chunks taken out, I would suppose you could.

they have no cracks in them and no big chunks taken off just scratches and dents from the oil squirters hitting them. and its only on 2 of the pistons.

actually just checked and thats the only one that has them like that the other 1 had only 2 small chips.

C'mon son. that skirt prolly isn't even round anymore. I would be scared to **** using a piston if somebody dropped it on the floor, let alone even thinking about the one you pictured.

take it to a machinist and see what they say. they maybe able to check for roundness and or smooth it out

Check balance, check for sharp edges, check thickness (those dents under the centre somewhat concern me, as does the fact some of the dents seem to affect the outside of the skirt)... the flame front doesn't care what's under it as long as it holds up. That being said, check the replacement price on a single piston. Might be worth the peace of mind.

Might also consider grams (weight) difference when spinning at high RPM.
