I need help does anyone know what im going to have to fabricate to put a b18a1 in my 1998 Honda prelude that has a h22a in it?????

Um why? Less torque and less power, and making custom mounts as there is no bloody reason to do it?

Even if the car originally had a blown H there really wouldn't be any advantage of throwing a B in there. Just get another H22. Plug & play.

the motor has a lot of work done to it and I pretty much got the motor for free so why not

B18a1 block w B16b CTR Head
The head has a 3 degree angle valve job
skunk 2 cam's and spring retainers
Blox dual valve springs
skunk 2 cam gears
Ctr intake manifold and valve cover
780cc denso injectors and fuel rail w gauge
Cometic head gasket and intake manifold gasket
block was resurfaced and bored to 82mm
ARP head studs
eagle H-beam rods
ACL race series bearings
Golden eagle block guard
10.75 to 1 compression wiseco pistons
All seals and gaskets purchased at honda brand new, unless otherwise listed
Gates timing belt
Blox filter block adapter for Vtec line
KMS block girdle
And the list goes on and on

Sale or trade the prelude shell and buy a integra or civic shell. Don't put a bullshit

A colossal waste of time and effort. Power to weight ratio, understand it. Then sell your bad *** 1.8liter motor to someone with a chassis that can actually take advantage of the lower torque on that motor.

I own a 3rd gen that could make use of its power band, but I put an H23a in there instead. And you want to put that in a heavier chassis???

I don't mean to sound so condesending but your idea makes no sense even if its built to the hilt.

Sell your motor and rebuild your H.

leave your lude alone and swap that B series to a crx, buy a shell they can cost over 500$
