B16 wont heat up
I have a 93 eg with a b16a. The temp guage seems like it only works when im idleing and wont go past the bottem marking on the guage if im driving on the highway it only moves when idle any idea what could be the problem im in canada and its to cold for it not to be working. Thanks guys
+1 for thermostat. I would assume stuck open, so coolant is always flowing not allowing the engine to heat up. I am assuming your heater does not get very hot either? If you have not replaced it lately, it is cheap and easy to replace.
The heat in the car only gets like luke warm just enough to barely defog the windows. I am mechamically inclinded where is it located and if i remove it will all the coolent in my car **** all over the place?
All of it won't leak out, just what is at the point, you will have to add antifreeze when done, a moderate amount will leak out. Follow the Rad hose until you get to the water neck. It will have 3 bolts on it. Passenger side of the motor pretty much where head and block meet at the back corner.
