swapped in a d16z6 from a manual to an auto car. i used manual engine wiring harness and ecu. my question is, do i need to use a manual dash harness? i have a high idle of about 2.4k i cleaned fitv and iacv and throttle body. i have iacv and TPS cel codes. i just ordered both the tps and iacv. the car runs and drives just not very good.

i ask if i need a dash harness because the wires near the battery side that go from the harness in the car to the engine harness itself, the wires going to each pin are different colors. i may not even know what im talking about. will try to post a picture soon.

could it just be my tps and iacv?
will update when they come in and are installed.
any help would be great.

when you do a swap the only wiring harness that you would have to swap would be the engine harness am i or am i not correct?

 

You shouldn't have to swap any wiring? Just install a manual ECU.

 

Always has to be someone that likes to over complicate things.
