Default components for a 99 civic, need help

I have a set of Pioneer premeir components. They wont fit on the upper tweeter. I was wondering what people have done with this. My choices are to get a stock piece from a 4door (one without a speaker) to cover up the mirror area and then put the components in the door or get rid of the components and get something else.

sorry if this sounds confusing.

Best way is to modify the tweeter pod(the stock piece). Couple ways of doing it: Cut, grind, sand whatever else you can/have to do to get it to physically fit in there (not necessarily look good) and then cover the whole thing in grill cloth. The other way is to cut grind and sand etc., mount the tweeter and smooth out the pod with bondo or bondo/epoxy mix or epoxy with filler material (epoxy w/filler works best on plastic imo). sand smooth and paint. Whatever you do, don't cut holes in the door panel.

HEre's what I did...it sounds sorta ghetto, but worked like a charm. Get a hot glue gun (cheap at a craft store) then remove the stock tweeter, and hot glue the aftermarket one in there....cover it all with grille cloth and you are done....it does protrude a bit, but when you cover it, no one will ever notice...I did this with my Diamond tweeters, and I have seen the same done with BA tweeters.

The hot glue is stable enough to keep the tweeter from moving under any condition, and it's not permanent....you can pop it out if you ever decided you want a change.
