i am ordering a clutch this weekend i dont know whether to go with act or exody...the exedy is cheaper but does that act perform much better? my mods are listed below

I/H/E
high flow cat
skunk2 stage1 cams/ spoon gears
skunk2 intake manifold
spoon itr pistons
itr throttle body

which clutch would work better with this set up for now...if i went with act would i need the HD00 or HDSS? im lost any help is appreciated

I have run both the Exedy full face and the ACT XTSS. The ACT will hold a little more torque. If you plan to build the car more than you have listed, I suggest the ACT.

thanks for the reply...i dont really plan on building the car much more that what i listed i might eventually go with some skunk2 stage2 cams but not much more than that....anyone else

i prolly should have reworded that. ACT makes good clutches there is no doubt. in my experience ppl buy the ACT clutch thats not meant for their application. usually they get something that can handle twice as much as what their setup actually can make. clutch pedal feel is stiffer on ACT clutches vs exedy. my exedy = stock clutch pedal and doesnt slip.

Without a doubt ACT HDSS.

I wouldnt go with Exedy...maybe as a stock replacement. Maybe.
