Default 1993 Civic CX hatchback...sway bars

12/20 - FU$K car was stolen.

Greetings from Chicago. Have a 1993 Civic CX that I have brought back from an accident. installed new body panels, new skunk2 pro Ii s coilover suspension, front sway bar, rear asr subbrace, gsr calipers, full exhasut [m2 headers --> yonaka cat back], refurbished 1991 crx si wheels, and fixed honda rust. here is how she sits now.

here are all the parts I have put on.

finally got my great $75 find of a ITR rear sway bar installed. it is 13 degrees outside, had to wear 4 layers, but I got it done. Got dirty and enjoyed every minute of it.

some pictures

old gsr 13mm sway bar on the floor, new sway installed

on the street with a fesh coat of fresh flat black paint.

anybody want to buy a gsr sway with d brackets and end links for cheap?

Might want to change out those sway bar end links for some adjustable ones.
Reason being you dont want any binding when it bolts up.
They should have no tension on them when you install the hardware, you can adjust them so the hardware slides in.
I know you had to muscle those bolts in.

ASR spherical endlinks are excellent if you are willing to spend the cash

I just put in the d brackets a few threads on both sides, then connected up the end links to my lower control arms. all bolts went in nicely. then i tightened up the lca bolts, and then snugged the d bracket bolts. nothing was hard to put in. don't believe there is much of a preload. But yeah, i would like to get some adjustable endlinks. They will cost more than my sway!

love the fact that our EGs have the same underpinnings of DC2s.

yep, in Chicago, it was the first snow fall of the year. We heavily salt our streets. I just power washed all that stuff the day after. Been doing that to keep the corrosion at bay...want this little EG to last.

LCAs are blox. I am looking to upgrade them by summer, have inspected the bushings, but really don't expect them to last for the price I got them. i'm tempted to get function 7 or maybe skunk2. have heard skunk2 bushings are not that good either though.
