Default idle adj on h22a4

Hi Guys,

Is there any way to adjust the idle on an h22a4? i just installed ES motor mounts (which i like alot) but id like to up the idle to 975rpm to compensate for the vibration at 760. ive searched and found somthing about a screw on the throttle body, but that was for civis.... thanks for any help.

Recessed flat headed screw on the throttle body above the intake opening.

thanks mark,

is the ecu going to play around with the idle if i set it higher, or is the
"warmed-up-temp-idle-speed" a purely mechanical thing? ive got a ghetto-switch- on-the-ecu-memory-power-mod done, maybe that will keap it from self adjusting in the long term? the more work i do on this car, the more full engine managment makes sense. MO MONEY.....

thank again, how did the draging in london go?

I've never tried to set stock idle that high. I don't think you should have too much problem with it, but I don't know. It's not like you're going to break anything.

I didn't go to St. Thomas. I'm in the middle of trying to build a new manifold. I'm not really into drag racing, but I still would have liked to go up there and hang out. Unfortunately; married + children does not equal free time.

thanks for the reply

ive been playng with my idle speed for a few days now and it seems that Mr. ECU doesnt like a setting above 820rpm, it starts fluctuating up to 1300 or so... vroomm vrooom. im geussing that its a sensor conflict of some sorts... temp, or maybe adjusting the idle screw so much plays havoc with the feuling at idle... hmmm maybe i should see what i can do with the v-afc around idle. what do you think?

Hey, does anybody know about ordering a Spoon H22 motor? I can't find anybody that's got any info on them. Last year, you could order one and now I can't find them anywhere! Money isn't a big deal, I want a properly built Crane motor. Help if you can! Thanks.
