My 91 crx will turn over, but not start. It has a spark and the fuel pressure read 42 psi. Changed the fuel filter but it didn't help. I left my lights on and had to get a jump right before this happened. I'm not sure if that would have anything to do with it.

 

Is spark bright white?

Have you checked the mechanical timing?

Do the injectors spray fuel?

CEL codes?

remove return line if gas comes out your getting fuel

edit:: 2 person job, one person watches the fuel return then the other turns to on position do not crank the motor

I've got fuel pressure, spark, and the timing hasn't jumped. The engine ran great before I turned the key off. Now it isn't hitting a lick. The fuel injectors aren't working. What would cause the fuel injectors not to spray?

Spray starting fluid into the TB to see if it starts.

 

I'm not sure how to tell to be honest. I can see all four injectors lined up. Its got a 95 block, a 95 head, and a 95 computer. it says vtec on my valve cover. I'm not sure if that can tell you anything.

Yes. The injectors aren't working. What would cause the injectors from spraying?

 

clogged would be my first guess try different injectors make sure they are obd-1

 

also might be malfunctioning fuel relay...

Yes. It was converted to MPFI. I just got the car a few months ago and was trying to remember what all he had done to it. But yes, it does have that conversion.

 

I just found where I had written everything down. Do you think it might be the ECU? I guess I should check with the wiring.

If the engine starts and runs briefly with starting fluid, then check whether all 4 injector clips get battery voltage with the key in ON(II).

distributor?
obd1 injectors? or obd0 injectors?
resistor box used?

resistor box/injector compatibility perhaps?
