Lowering springs = no drop URGENT HELP!!!!!!!
Hello honda tech people im new on to this forum and i been searching for ever through the suspension forum and google but cant seem to find it....
My problem is that i have installed some d2 racing sport lowering springs on to my 96 integra..before installing them i read that it takes sometime to notice the drop n i was perfectly fine with that. i installed the front first and when done i notice the drop immediatly and i was very excited :D.. but after alot of struggle with screws snapping in the rear and my bwr lower control arm struggling to get fit in we finally was finish and when we let it go the car stayed its original height . i am wondering can it be possible that i put the spring upside down? is that even possible.. please help i need to fix this asap its suppose to be a 2.5 drop n my front is like that ....
p.s. its been 24 hours since we installed it so yea ive waited please help!!!!

Are you sure they are lowering springs? Did you install the springs on the shocks correctly?
And no, it should not settle. That's actually the bushings tearing because you failed to clock them correctly.

At nearly every point where two suspension components meet there are rubber bushings housed in metal collars. If you tighten all the suspension bolts with the car in the air, the bushings will twist when the car lowers and they will act as springs, holding the car up. So you need to lower the car with the suspension bolts loose, and then tighten them all with the car at ride height. This only happens with rubber bushings, so if you have urethane bushings something else is going on.

You need to reclock those bushings before they get destroyed. Whoever told you tha the car will lower over time is an idiot.
