Default soft clutch pedal

So, a couple of years ago my wife said that her car was driving funny. She has a '94 DX with a VX swap (D15z1 Vtec-E) and matching tranny.
So I test drive it. During normal driving, the clutch would slip when I hit third and started to accelerate. Then I got on it, and it was really starting to slip. So she said she was going to drive it until the clutch went out.
So a while later, I drove it somewhere and noticed that the clutch pedal had no resistance. I checked the fluid, a little low. I added some, still really soft. I bled the crap out of it, no bubbles, clear fluid, and still the same. She kept driving it.

I bought a clutch, but never got a chance to install it. Too much personal stuff was going on. She said it was ok to drive, so she did.

One day I checked the clutch master and it had a minor leak under the dash. Replaced it, bled the crap out of it, no air, no bubbles, clear fluid. Still soft. So I decided to replace the slave. Same thing. I've gone through something like a gallon of brake fluid bleeding this thing. So it's got to be the pressure plate, right?

So I got some time, and a place to do work on it. Replaced the clutch, replaced all of the bearings in the tranny, installed everything, bled the crap out of the clutch again, and guess what? Still soft pedal. It has a real good amount of pressure. I am saying this cause the fluid really spurts out. It doesn't just dribble, or even stream. It BLASTS out! Clean fluid, no bubbles.

I've bled it different ways: With the vaccum brake bleeder. With submerging the hose in a bottle with brake fluid. Pressing on the back of the shift fork. No pumping, just slowly to the floor, open bleeder, close bleeder, raise pedal. Never let res. get low.
I've tried every which way to bleed it. But it's still soft. I've even tried to adjust the freeplay and no difference what so ever.

The car drives fine, but just really soft to use the pedal. It goes into neutral fine, into gears fine, and accelerates fine.

Recap:

New master
New slave
New clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, pilot bearing
Resurfaced flywheel
New axles
No leaks anywhere
Bled, bled, bled, bled, bled, bled, bled, bled, bled, bled, bled, bled, bled, bled, bled, bled, bled, and bled some more.

Is it possible that I'm just too used to my cable clutch in my CRX? I don't remember any hydro clutches this soft.

If it's a stock clutch there really isn't much force against the pedal.

Never driven a cable, but would think that pressing the cable must be harder than pushing some fluid down.

Have some buddy's over to drive your car and see what they think? Probably someone who drives a stick on a daily basis!

Last resort, take it to Honda :O
