clueless as to what to do first. what would be the basic inexpensive maintenance. basically someone point me in the right direction.
im already buying front axles, wheel bearings all the way around, cv joints, probably an alternator, starter and ignition switch, and throttle body? hows that for a start? or am i in the complete wrong area ahaha. HELP!

Well it would help if we knew the car you were talking about. Pictures? Description? You could try looking around and seeing what other people are doing with their "Insert car description here"
Good luck with your Accord and you definitely have great folks around here to help answer your questions.

If you jump straight into modifying the car with out diagnosing and maintaining it first you're gonna have a bad time.
Personally I would just get it up to date on maintenance first and then once you work out all the minor issues it may have, then and only then can you truly start modifying it.

Well...my last car was a 2000 VW Golf GTI (Rabbit for the US), and modifying it usually destroyed a few things regularly.... the CV joints lasted roughly a year due to extra stress from lowered suspension, sump would catch on country roads, ended up blowing the turbo in the end due to oil leaking! Finally I would get 2 years out of a shock before it quit....and my interior rattled useless....
....so don't lower it!! haha

Don't fix it if it aint broke! Do a tune-up / change oil/ change tranny fluid/ inspect ball joints an axles. Why but a bunch of things that you might not need.. unless money is not a factor then go to town my friend.
Agree with above post (EFyourK) but I suppose if you have already bought everything you can use a lot of them as spares for if anything breaks! Once you start lowering cars you mess with suspension geometry and cause excess stress on various parts, such as top mounts, bushings, shocks, springs.... not only that but the decreased ground clearance will cause the underside to catch on poor roads, so make sure the sump doesnt hang too low!
Anyway how about telling us what the car is, we're all assuming an Accord, but what year, engine, mileage etc. Any pics of it?
