black dust/dots on the rear bumper. plugs were very black and black smoke when you rev it(below 5k). Car ran fine up until i installed my S2 IM/TB. This is really starting bug me im out of ideas. i've searched but im just hitting dead ends on why it's doing this.

It's tuned. mods:S2 megapower exhsust, bigtube header,SRI,S2 70mm TB,S2 intake manifold. chipped p72 for all mods listed above. just one cel but it only comes on when the car is running so i can't read it.(missing knock and evap purge valve but that's it)

You can read it when the car is on. Jump the service connector on the passenger floorboard and count the blinks. Honestly though a "chip" for mods isn't tuned, you need a tune able ECU and a dyno and/or an experienced professional to tune it.

check for vacuum leaks. the 02 sensor may be trying to compenstate for the lean condition if it does have a vacuum leak or a bad exhaust header gasket. Where is your 02 located on the header? the only other time ive seen black soot come out pf the tailpipe is when theres a burnt valve. Hope its nothing serious but check for vacuum leaks. But if you could get that code it would be even better

Still have to check for vacum leaks. but the only 02 is located at the end of the header. header gasket is near brand new, will try and get code tomorrow.

You have to be kidding me,

you have another thread open about your car not reaching op temp for a long time which we determined must be the thermostadt failed or stuck open, installed backwards, ect.

Test replace and fix your cooling system problem first as the ECU is gonna run off of richer tables when running that cool for startup enrichment, your probably not even entering closed loop fueling, THAT is where the soot on your bumper is coming from, and THAT is why your vehicle is overfueling.

If the thing has been running for a while and hasnt heated up, feel the upper radiator hose and inspect whether the hose is hot and pressurized.

I bet your car idles 900-1000 rpm until it finally warms up also

hose gets hot and is pressurized after a while. my car idles at 1.7k upon start up and will not go down even when car is at op temp(S2 tb has not FITV) so i have to bring it down by losening the throttle cable bolts(i have a thred in the all motor regrading that issue)
